Kelly Silva joins LNKS Luanda Music Group

Kelly Silva, one of the best known names of romantic music in Angola, is now represented by LNKS Luanda Music Group. The group was launched by LNKSMGMT, the label and management agency in the United Kingdom that has looked after his career, and it brings the same team and the same care together under one name.

35 years on stage

Born in the province of Luanda, Kelly Silva took his first steps as a dancer with the group Lambada do Kinaxixi, but soon found that his place was at the microphone. At thirteen he was already singing professionally with his friend Arnaldo in the duo Kelly e Arnaldo, which lasted four years.

In 2000 he was named Voz Revelação, the breakthrough voice, at Top Rádio Luanda, and in 2009 he was voted best romantic singer with the song "Por Você". He has four albums to his name: "100% Apaixonado", "Por Causa Dela", "História do Angolano" and "Algo Especial". The last was recorded in the United States with the band La Máfia, and its single "O Problema" ruled Angolan radio for weeks.

From Luanda to Salvador da Bahia

His kizomba hit "5 Minutos" went viral across the countries where Portuguese is spoken and took him on tour abroad. In Brazil he was invited onto "Canta Comigo" on TV Record, and in 2019 he was the most anticipated international attraction of the carnival in Salvador da Bahia, at the invitation of Mari Antunes of Banda Babado Novo, performing for more than one million people. That same year he played more than 280 shows.

Coming soon is his new single, "Saudade não tem Rua", part of a project of 35 songs that marks his 35 years of career.
