LNKS Luanda Music Group is the company launched in Luanda by LNKS, a UK record label. We work with Angolan artists and build every release to reach the world.

Our story

A UK label, launched in Luanda

LNKS is a record label with its head office in Manchester, United Kingdom, and an office in London. It launched LNKS Luanda Music Group in Luanda to find, sign and develop artists, and to give them the guidance and structure that turn talent into careers.

Angola is full of talent that deserves the same backing the major labels give their artists. LNKS Luanda Music Group brings that backing to artists on the ground in Luanda, with the LNKS team and studios in the UK behind every release.

Our focus is Luanda, and we sign artists wherever we find them. And music is not only made by artists: every release needs photographers, filmmakers, managers, marketers and A&R, so we are creating jobs in music for the Luanda community.

Our four divisions are in house teams that work only for artists signed to LNKS Luanda Music Group. They are not public services.

    LNKS Records signs and develops our artists, then plans and runs their releases: recording budgets, artwork, distribution, marketing and the long view of a career. We start with artists from Angola and build every release so it can travel.

    LNKS Publishing

    LNKS Publishing looks after our artists' songs. We register their works, collect their royalties, pitch their songs for film, television, games and advertising, and set up co writing sessions for them in Manchester, London, Luanda and beyond.

    LNKS Management

    LNKS Management works with our signed artists on the whole career: planning, touring, brand partnerships, team building and the daily decisions. Managers work closely with the label and the studio, so plans stay joined up.

    LNKS Studios

    LNKS Studios is where our records get made: recording, production, mixing and mastering for our signed artists, at our studios in the UK. The studios work only for artists signed to LNKS Luanda Music Group, and we do not take outside sessions or public bookings.

How one release moves through the group
