How the RISE Chart works

Every month is a new season. To enter the chart, an artist needs 25 votes in that season.
The first 10 artists to reach 25 votes are on the chart for the whole season. Then the chart is full until next season.
Each week the artists on the chart compete for No. 1. The chart closes Friday at midnight, Luanda time, and the week's winner joins the Hall of Fame.
At the end of the season, the artist with the most votes across the season is Season Champion. Then everyone starts again from zero.
Sign in with Google to vote. You have one vote a day, Monday to Friday, here or on the RISE Chart.

Txoboy Banzelo

Biography

Born Nataniel Acácio Camufingo in Luanda, Txoboy Banzelo is a rapper and singer whose music grows out of a lifelong devotion to hip hop culture. For him, rap is a way of thinking out loud: he turns lived experience into verses and ideas into records, writing with directness, conviction and a clear sense of where he comes from.

His sound pairs the edge of Angolan rap with the melodic instinct of a singer. He announced himself with the single "Baza", featuring Biury Shine, in 2025, alongside the official video for "TRIPPIN 4", produced by Ed Amazing. The visualiser for "Caneta Preta" followed, and in 2026 he joined Flaga Smok on "Money Está Vir", released with an official music video.

Music is more than a dream. It is a mission.

Driven by ambition and discipline, Txoboy Banzelo is building his career on authenticity. His aim is to move people, to inspire everyone who recognises themselves in his story, and to represent his Angolan identity with every record he makes.

For Txoboy Banzelo, music is more than a dream. It is a mission, a means of expression and a path to leaving his mark on Angolan music.

From Luanda to the world, with attitude, identity and the power of rap.
